Born as a dancer, discovered as a talent early and educated to become a ballerina, it turned out that I became a painter; to my own surprise. A painter dedicated to abstract expression.

I came out seriously as a fine artist in the early seventies......very unsure of my performances and totally out of the blue to my inner circle. Inspired however by The COBRA painters, like Karel Appel and  Asger Jorn.

Fifty years later I realize that I am still always a dancer in essence and that my paintings kept close to choreographics on canvas. Nothing really changed after all. Exceptly that time became space and music colors. What did change were the areas of orientation. My extravert directed attention and curiousity changed over time into a much more introvert screening of the individual psyche and of the influences of family and society on well being. Resulting in more soft lines and weak colors.
